Off the Trail

I painted this in September 2023 as a gift for my mother-in-law, who loved sci-fi.
It combines a few things that feel very Colorado to me — mountains, aspens, real leaves collected from Rainbow Trail, and a little unexpected Bigfoot moment.
For Rescue #1, I’m keeping what I still love about it and reworking the parts that never quite felt finished.

Eye See You
This one has been sitting around waiting for me to figure out what it wants to be. I still love the hidden eyes in the aspens — I just think the rest of it needs a little help catching up.
