Reflections

This 8×10 painting is the oldest piece in my rescue pile, painted about 13 years ago.

Looking at it now, it feels like a reflection of how much I’ve grown as an artist — not just in technique, but in confidence, color, composition, and knowing when to keep going.

For this rescue, I gave it a full facelift while still keeping the original landscape at the heart of the piece — brighter color, more depth, and a lot more life in the water.
